CURRENT MISSION
Trying to cram in as much adventure as possible
ABOUT ME
A few months ago, I decided to take a break from my career at huge global corporations. When the irony of choosing to be an unemployed HR professional overtakes me, I'll get back to the job (which I happen to enjoy quite a bit). Until then, I'll be traveling around and checking things off of the bucket list while I have the freedom and time!
As a Seattle native, I have a closet full of fleece and good recycling habits. At the moment, however, I'm based in San Diego where I enjoy surfing and marvel at how it's possible to wear flip flops year round.
PHILOSOPHY
If it's boring or not at least a little bit challenging, it's not worth doing.
Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
None yet! Trying this out based on a friend's experience as a host. I happened to also be visiting when a couple of surfers were staying. CS seems like a great way to meet people you might not otherwise connect with.
I just set-up my profile, so am in the process of getting verified (and will have at least one reference soon).
Intereses
Traveling, of course! French. Cooking (but I like the eating part better). Surfing (the in-the-ocean kind). Squash (the with-a-racquet kind). Hanging out with my dog (a Shiba Inu).
