COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Awesome experience. Both surfing and, may be even more awesome, hosting
Interests
Christina: I am a teacher of English and I'm passionate about my work. I enjoy learning new things every day and trying to become a better person and a better teacher, of course. Traveling is the greatest opportunity for fulfilling this mission, that's why me and my boyfriend Artem are always eager to start a new trip.
Another hobby is dancing and I love it because the feeling of freedom and beauty I get while dancing is very special for me.
I also like handmade, DIY things that I can use or give someone as a present.
Artem: We travel a lot and I organize all our trips, try to make them as cool and adventurous as they can be. This experience helped me to open and successfully run a small travel agency in my hometown.
I like to try new things, play a musical instrument, read a book, taste good food and many more.
Last year we and our friends starded a DIY cultural centre in our hometown Tula where wide variety of events take place: courses, lectures, concerts and many more.
We also like guests in our tiny flat to have a glass of glintwein or a piece of absurd but funny talk.

Music, Movies, and Books
Christina: I'm fond of various kinds of music, especially I'm into old-school soul and r'n'b songs, future hip-hop, some alternative rock groups like Coldplay, Radiohead, Russian rock singer and writer Zemfira (I advise it to anyone who wants to listen to some good modern Russian music), sometimes I like to listen to house music or dancehall and dance :), and sometimes I prefer listening to jazz (Miles Davis, Charles Mingus, Frank Sinatra, Ella Fitzgerald and more...)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
became a part of couchsurfing community, started to learn chinese (and still trying:) ,had a 25-days bycicle travel, and many other small big things
Teach, Learn, Share
I'd like to learn dancing, writing and languages.
Share some thoughts about dance myself, teach how to make traditional russian pancakes, and more.
Artem runs his own small travel agency, and as an experienced traveler he may share ideas on smart travelling, using special offers on flights, etc.
Recently we've crossed the Atlantic ocean on the cruise ship. It was 15- days cruise from Italy to Caribbean -- we payed only 300 for that with everything included. We can give you some hints on how to do that
Also we are interested in urban development and popularizing of DIY culture -- for these reasons we started a community in Tula called "Mozhem Sami" (we can do ourselves) which is a hub for all the communities, business and administration to share experience and develop
