CURRENT MISSION

Travelling through Europe with my wonderful friend Haïdi (see picture)! It's our first trip together and we have been waiting for this opportunity for such a long time. We are really excited (yeah!).

ABOUT US

Gabs:
What can I say... I'm a person who enjoys life and people in general. Very energetic, sociable and definitely curious. I don't smoke, i don't drink any kind of alcohol (and it's by choice) but I don't mind being around people who do. Eating is a passion of mine as well as travelling and arts and philosophy and people and hiking, etc, etc, etc.

Haïdi:
I'm an energetic person who appreciates the small things in life like good dinners with family and friends, sunsets (as well as sunrises if I'm up!), walking the woods, etc. I'm an open-minded person who simply enjoys the company of others and is looking forward to meeting new people. Couchsurfing seems to be the perfect way to accomplish all of this while travelling! I don't smoke either... but I drink :) I also enjoy dancing (swing) and biking.

Centres d'intérêt

Meeting new people, music (singing especially, we are not necessarily the best singers, but we really enjoy doing it. We love love a good old jam.)... Cooking is a passion of ours as well as discovering new cultures. And so on.

Anything that is different from everything we see, hear or read on a daily basis. I just love to be surprised so anything with an original content or a good suspense. About music: I am really into Unknown Mortal Orchestra those days.

Une aventure extraordinaire que j'ai vécue

Gabs:
I lived in Moscow for a year (difficult and amazing experience at the same time)
I met amazing people who taught me so much about life and acceptance of differences.

Haïdi:
My second humanitarian trip in the Dominican Republic: I stayed in a village in the mountains for three months to help out the communities around with health and education services.

Gabs:
Actually, I'm interested in about pretty much everything, I Just love to listen to people talking about their interests and personal experiences. Of course, I am also willing to share on mine. If you're interested, I can teach you French (i was a french teacher in another life).

Ce que j'aimerais partager avec mes hôtes

We can share about francophone culture, and Québec's culture more specifically, we both have a passion for food. We basically just enjoy having good conversations with people and sharing about our life's experiences.
