ABOUT ME

Hi! This is Shierfa from Taiwan. A dreamer who loves God very much.
I have studied in Japan for a year and make many local friends. That's why I want to make friends from different cultures. To exchange ideas and make friends are quiet important to me.
I am a shy but open-minded person who likes to acquire knowledge about different cultures, try local cuisine, travel and make friends. Want to explore and experience of new life style, enjoy this world, look forward to learn or challenge new skill. Basically I'm not a chatty person at the first, but enthusiasm inside:)

- Being polite and shy ONLY IN THE BEGINNING.
- Love board/video game very much.
- Love Meteor Showers , Firefly, Picture Book and Malayan Tapir.
- Have been an international student in Japan about one year. Study Japanese Culture and Thinking. You can ask me anything about Japan if you are interesting in.
- Fun lover and a Dreamer:D
- Like walking, biking, want to learn dancing, but gym will be the last place I would like to go.
- Interested in art, music, culture, board and video game, travel, language and sometimes paint when I have time
- My dream is to become a habbit.

Hope one day I can become a storyteller, to share my own adventure to friends who I meet in my life.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I used to travel with family and friend when I was in Taiwan. But since I studied in Japan, I think it's an opportunity for me to travel by oneself without escorted tour. My friend introduces me Couchsurfing and I think it's really a good way to make friends. Not only travel for famous sight seeing, but also learn something from other country's people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I like to stay in a place a period of time to explore, enjoy the atmosphere mood and the way of life there. Of course if I don't have enough time, I would like to enjoy some sight seeings and delicious food. But through several times of travel, surfing and hosting, I really learning a lot of things from local people and other travelers. It's really important to me to see a country or culture from other viewpoint.(Maybe because I study Japanese thinking.) I think that's what "travel" means to me. And when you back to a place to visit old friends, it's another wonderful thing:)
