Well... this is such a simple but tough question at the same time. Some basic facts about me - I'm Singaporean, born and raised and indulge myself ALOT in the national pastime which is 1) FOOD, 2) FOOD & 3) Food after Shopping . There are other parts about me such as the occasional shopping sprees and dumping my homies(is that how you use this? I'm Singaporean so I'm just trying) with a ton of lame jokes anytime and anywhere on the go. I count sarcasm as a formidable weapon in relationship building so please don't get offended for most of the time I mean well, I do... I really do ;)

My friends know me as the sociology addict and philosopher (actually that's what I think I am) but in fact I'm just a geek interested in sociology, social issues and idealistic about changing the world... I'm impractical like that but I love it I'm like that. I am positive about everything and anything MOST of the time and that is pretty much how I do get hurt and get into trouble sometimes but I still choose to love and believe people. :) I also happen to like running, movies, ping pong, gym, singing, beatboxing, anything that's adorable looking like puppies and cats, entrepreneurship, reading... Deep inside, trust me I'm an introvert.

Oh ya, I forgot to mention I'm a sociology and marketing major in Singapore Management University who loves to dabble into making design and powerpoints for some unknown reason. I'm passionate about all sorts of things making me a jack of all trades, master of none. If there's ever a grown up and male version of Dora the explorer, I will pretty much fit the bill as I love travelling and discovering the extraordinary out of the monotonous ordinary. I know I don't sound like the typical masculine alpha type male, I'm totally NOT into cars, soccer, football, basketball, watches(maybe sometimes), but I'm straight as an arrow being interested in females. I guess I got carried away....

Yup I'm here as I hope to meet more people, garner new perspectives, be exposed to various cultures (kind all the cliche stuff you hear people babbling about all the time here... Ultimately, I'm here because I love life, love people and oh yes I'm a Christian... so above anything else I love GOD.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies- I have a mix of interests regarding movies... I love stuff that are incredibly mind-boggling and engaging intellectually but at the same time loves to be entertained by plain, dumb and stupid humour films. So anything that fits in those categories I probably watched it before...

Music- enjoys acoustic tunes, pop jams, soft rock, covers not too much of a fan in metal or heavy rock music or clubbing tracks... Prefers something easy on the ears and enriching for the soul :)

Books: Non Fiction obsessor... love to gain knowledge about the world, Malcolm Gladwell, Freakonomics, Upside of Irrationality, Habits , Focus,
Christian themed or Christian books, books on faith are all food to my soul.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

On one occasion, I have SAVED myself the trouble of shopping for clothes physically and some time by doing online shopping.

On a more serious note, I have fortunately performed in front of thousands of people in church and in school... maybe it is not that impressive but it was pretty splendid for me. I have also done rafting and zip lining if those kind of extreme sports stuff impresses you and for sure I have been to several theme parks and sat on the exciting rides.

Lastly, I am a budding entepreneur working on print and corporate merchandising and advertising... I have also been privileged to have worked with Microsoft and Samsung during my advertising internship... I happen to be Teaching Assistant in my current college for 2 years in Guangzhou and know Guangzhou relatively well!

I guess I can bore or alternatively inspire you with my perspectives about the world sociologically... share about social pains, atrocities, problems and social change... I love sharing about my God but if you are not really interested, I will just keep mum...

I like designing powerpoint slides so if you are PPT disaster, you have just found the right person to save you... :) I can impart my invaluable skills to you free of charge but a nice drink will be good. I love ADVERTISING so if there's an ad out there I probably have seen it... hahaha

I love Asia and its cultures, so will be awesome to share my observations and knowledge about Asia and their cultures and rich history. My mandarin is pretty decent if you just wanna learn a language feel free to engage me!
