About Me

I live in Steamboat Springs, CO. I have been all over country and stayed with amazing people to have amazing experiences on here. I work med in wildlife and fisheries which brought me from CO to FL to WI, to AZ to ID to CA to Costa Rica to OR and now I’m back in CO. I love all animals and am working on a vet tech degree and working as an assistant now to get more into wildlife rehab eventually.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Needing a place to stay when exploring new cities, or other parts of the country. I like to stay with other people compared to hotels because I love to get suggestions from everyone on things they like to do in places i am visiting, and it is just fun in my opinion to get to know new people! Making connections everywhere I can is something I like to do. I move very often because I am a seasonal worker, and have been able to do this and make so many friends in different parts of the country I have lived and would like to continue :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a fan of all movies and books that are spooky or supernatural related. I listen to rock music..mostly metal and punk, as well as dance music

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

As a technician at an avian rehabilitation center in Florida, I put stumps on amputated legs of sand hill cranes many times a week as they needed to be changed out regularly to prevent infection. This is much harder than you would think, especially catching them..lol

Teach, Learn, Share

I've worked as a wildlife and fisheries technician for the Forest Service, US Fish and Wildlife, and a couple state jobs and know a lot about birds, various mammals, and fish and am happy to share all my knowledge and experiences I have had. Small and large animal medical care

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am happy to bring anything that one would want who would be accommodating my visit.

Countries I’ve Visited

Costa Rica, Israel, Mexico
