I was born and grew up in Siberia. I have never seen a bear though. Never owned a matryoshka doll. As a kid, I did have an ushanka hat (several, really). I love snow but hate cold. First time saw a sea when I was 23. Currently live in Stavanger on the west coast of Norway. Easy going, openminded and friendly person. Love to cook and travel learn new words and recipes. Normally I don't need a guide but really appreciate some local advice and enjoy the company.

If you are going to Stavanger, the best time is May-June but even then you should always be prepared for rain. Preikestolen is open year round and it's THAT good. City centre is easily manageable by foot and Preikestolen is easily accessible by public transport. While you are here, consider also visiting Kjerag, Månafossen, Gloppedalsura, eat at the Byrkjedal restaurant, take a boat tour along Lysefjord, visit Sola/Bore beaches and Sverd i fjell sculpture. It is possible to go to Trolltunga from Stavanger but to return on the same day is very difficult. As is to hike both Preikestolen and Kjerag on the same day.
