Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Only as a surfer at the moment...but I try to spread friendship by being a good couchsurfer! I don't take up much space, can talk to anyone about anything, love cooking for people, have a few good stories up my sleeve, and - well, I genuinely love meeting new people. Everyone has something new to share.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

If I had to pick only one so far, it would be driving across the French Alps in winter. We approached and ascended the peaks accompanied by the suitably stirring music of Puccini, et al, and it was like soaring up into another world, high above everything else. Simply magical.

But then...hitchhiking around New Zealand was pretty fun as well... and exploring the old stomping ground of Cicero in Arpino, Italia, has been an experience to be treasured by my classicist heart.

Driving from the middle of Italy up into the Czech Republic in a beatup old camper was also something I can never forget.

Travelling around Bosnia in aforementioned camper was an extraordinary experience.

I suppose this is a list which can only grow...
