About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Learning the basics to couchsurf and keep meeting people & travelling around the world. RESEARCHING the traveller to write a book.

ABOUT ME

I travel like Rolf Potts !
You are a travel legend in the making, with a sense of adventure that will lead to hundreds of fascinating stories. Locals all over the world will give you special nicknames, and almost all of them will be complimentary.
What type of traveler are you?

Beside te quizz I think CS is a good opportunity to make friends, expand the net and connect with the world.

I am new here, so, please, be patient! :D

PHILOSOPHY

visited 13 states (48.1%)Create your own visited map of Brazil

This is the only chance to do everything!!!
Nothing can be left for the next chance, all should be experienced here and now. Time is short and must be appreciated wisely.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Well, I am a great cook, could it be?

I can show you the experience I got working on restaurants, pubs, bars and cafes (3 years total) as a waiter, bartender, barman, cook and host! :D

Besides, I think that 'sharing' is the key word to enjoy life!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

visited 14 states (6.22%)Create your own visited map of The World

I've been travelling a lot around the world since 2007, and I thinki that travelling is not just about going from A to B.

I used to host friends and friends of friends and also friedns of friends of friends when I was living alone, and I used to stay at their places, but I think CS can take the travelling experience to another level.

(Now I am making a big research about "TRAVEL" for a big exhibition I'll do in September 2010. I am almost in the end, but the amazing experiences are endless... I am hardly thinking about writing a book about this experience (I am already doing it).

I still don't know what to write down here, but I think it will change soon, so... that's all for now!

Interests

- FOOD (I love to cook) and all involved, including washing dishes, cleaning the kitchen, it is a great therapy and I always get great ideas doing this kind of 'work'.

The life around table and it's experience. I can spend the whole day fixing things or cleaning little dirts.

Music, Movies, and Books

Road trip books, all kinds of music, the endless movie I make in my life.

At the moment reading ON THE ROAD - Jack Kerouac (for the fifth time, and also because I am getting homesick very often)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

- I slept on the sands of Porto de Galinhas / Maracaípe, after a crazy party / Brazil, 2007.
- I did a 10 days trip through Japan with my aunt and her grandchildren in 2008.
- I walked alone through Krakow streets, flowing as the spring winds / Poland, 2009
- I had one of the greatest barbecue in Ilsede / Germany, 2009.
- I had a crazy experience on an ecovillage in Minas Gerais, Brazil, 2010.
- I saw a friendship lose it's name to something I don't know travelling one month and a half with a turtle through Europe.
