ABOUT ME

I'm originally from Colorado Springs but have spent many years in Fort Collins, where I received my B.S. in Biomedical Sciences. I have also lived briefly in Swansea, Wales, U.K (5 months--study abroad!); and in Baltimore, MD (9 months--masters degree!)

PHILOSOPHY

Every person you meet has something to teach. Whether you get along or disagree mercilessly, you learn from the people you know, the interactions you have, and the situations you observe. Also, never take for granted the people around you--you never know when you may need to ask for help.

Although I can't really help with a couch right now, I would love to offer any travel advice, share stories, or meet and chat!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have been lucky enough to have two wonderful experiences surfing, one in Stirling, Scotland and one in Interlaken, Switzerland. The best experience however was not even a planned one, but when a few friends and I were camping in Scotland. After a long day of walking with our packs trying to find a place to settle for the night we came to a house at the foot of Ben Nevis. We knocked to get an idea of where to camp and the woman who answered offered us her own land to stay on. Although nothing was forcing her to help us, she not only offered us a place to stay for two nights but also watched our packs while we climbed Ben Nevis and even gave us a ride to the train station when we needed to leave. Her hospitality and stories will never be forgotten.
