ABOUT ME
A wondering girl, not much has changed.
My passion for people fueled my studies in foreign languages and now my teaching.
Curiosity, tolerance, and a desire to understand are my driving forces. I am fascinated by people, how we love, what we do, what makes us tick, what makes us shine, and what helps us feel good.
Aside from reading, learning, and people watching I also enjoy wandering around taking pictures of everything, dancing, arts and crafting, scribbling, riding bikes, seeing live music, enjoying the outdoors, visiting museums, cooking, making
lame jokes, and dramatically reading aloud.
PHILOSOPHY
circles, man.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
Giving potential travelers ideas of places to visit in my city, hosting, and eventually, surfing. I LOVE to play tour guide. Memphis had thrown us all for a developmental loop so there are so many new things that we could play tourist together!
I hosted for about a year along with my old roommates but I'm currently unable to host.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Lots of hosting. I absolutely adore it. Wonderfully enriching and positive.
Oh, and I'll probably cook for you!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I get to show children the joys of reading and communication everyday. It often feels amazing.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach: fun words in Spanish and Portuguese, some hula-hooping, a little bit of jewelry making, how to cook a MEAN vegetarian 3 bean chili, how to make gift bags, gift baskets, wrap presents, how to write hilarious hikus
I can learn: anything! I'd love to learn more hoop tricks, dance moves, phrases in new languages, about new things to read, where to go, photography skills, new recipes, how to grow my own [insert organic substance here], medicinal herbal tea making, sustainable living tips, about you!
I can share: a uniquely magnetic attitude, the wondrous charms of my city, a glance at your work (art, prose, what have you), some blankets, laughter, good food, cool stories bro, fun music, happy hearts, listening ears, enthusiasm, an outside perspective, stuff I've read.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Anything! Ideas, opinions, a quiet moment. A hand with dinner
