ABOUT ME

I love to explore, I am insatiably curious, and I won't pass up a good challenge. I've lived in Michigan, Florida, Colorado, and California. I currently am working for the Bureau of Land Management on a handcrew as a wildland firefighter with plans to pursue my Paramedic certification this winter.

I am continually figuring out how to responsibly live a life in the pursuit of knowledge and adventure. Although I prefer to live on the move, I come across as pretty mellow and relaxed.

I try to host as much as I can, but I haven't been able to host for around a year. I am always up for grabbing a coffee or beer and showing you what I love about my city.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've hiked to 14,000 feet, raced bicycles, explored abandoned buildings in Detroit, worked on the flight deck of an aircraft carrier, cliff jumped in Greece, jumped out of airplanes, and I once lived out to sea for seven months.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach/Share: I am extremely handy and can repair almost anything. I shoot and develop my own 35mm film sporadically and would be happy to show someone how awesome film is. My snowboard tunes and base repairs are decent. I was a helicopter mechanic for four years and have a plethora of random aviation knowledge.

Learn: I want to get my skydiving license and would like to meet anyone who currently jumps. I also would like to learn more about climbing such as alpine rope work, gear placement, setting up rappels.
