CURRENT MISSION
Becoming who I am
ABOUT ME
Who am I? Not sure I can tell : whatever I could say would only be my own perception of myself. Yours could be way different when you meet me - depending on your culture, your mood, your openmindedness. It will even depend on the feeling between you and me, something that can be more or less attraction, something that is beyond us I guess!
Well, if I really had to play the game anyway : I like to consider myself as someone curious and open-minded. I tend to live relationships (of all kind) as something almost sacred, which also means I won't call anyone a friend - to my mind friendship means a lot. I am generally quite extrovert but ultimately I think I'm the introvert kind. I need my independance and am not afraid of loneliness at all. I love nature, I miss it a lot. There is magic in Nature, an amazing peaceful strength. At the end I'm convinced that this is far more important, more meaningful, than anything we can learn in the hustle and bustle of the city life.
PHILOSOPHY
Live as if you were to die tomorrow. Learn as if you were to live forever - Gandhi.
Not obvious to apply this truth in everyday life. But I keep in mind that we all finally die : Life is a journey to Death... And it's alright, provided you live your life the way you really want to live it. Death is not sad unless you have regrets :)
The biggest challenge is to fight fear (or perhaps fear of fear) because it is often the only way to make dreams come true.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I used to participate at every CS monday meeting when I was living in Lyon, and also organized gatherings to go out and entertain. Then I travelled, I was a volunteer, then I volunteered again, and during this periods I abandoned the CS way of life, sort of.
Now freshly arrived in Lille, I hope it will be a fresh new start!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Is it the part where we should make the list of aaaall the guests we had, and aaaaall the hosts we had? I have already seen these kinds of lists, it seems to be like a sort of proof that you are a "good"/"interesting"/"dynamic" CSer...
Wait, since when quantity is more important than quality? (let's try to be more than consumers).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Fought my own fears
Felt connected to nature / humanity / universe
Teach, Learn, Share
Share : one moment, one silence, one drink, one walk, one conversation, one different perspective... Energy of the instant.
Teach : how to ask to oneself tons of questions and try to accept we don't have the answers for the most important of them... Anybody interested? ;)
Learn : guitar, gardenning... Something useful I could do with my stupid hands!
