ABOUT ME

I like almost anything and everything under the sun-- reading (which i actually LOVE), meeting people from different cultures, cooking, learning languages, puppies, a dog sleeping in the sun, gardening, watching movies, an innocent smile, a stroll by the river or through the woods, a hurriedly made pasta, a Sunday afternoon siesta, the dancing shadows of leaves on my window... i could go on and on..!

Apart form this, I believe in gender equality and can fight for it for hours.

Anyway, enough of me.. what about you? :)

Working as part-time teacher, I have some free time. So, if you are visiting Reims, I would be glad to show you around or grab a coffee.

Met many wonderful people, made friendships through CS. The kindness of those people made my try to reciprocate for it.

Books.. ah well,if my brother is to be believed, i have spent more than half of my awake life reading! all books by Ruskin Bond, who writes beautifully about the Himalayan foothills, Shantaram, all of Marcel Pagnol, Contact by Carl Sagan, Harry Potter series, the Bertie- Jeeves series, In a strange room, The good doctor by Damun Galgut, Mma Ramotswe books.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The beautiful river Godavari which flows nearby my house in India never fails to amaze me! Sunrise, sunset, peacocks nearby, the red Gulmohar tree standing beside the banks.. its almost magical!

I have seen single foreigner women struggling a lot in India.. would be glad to be of help to them.

What I Can Share with Hosts
