About Me
ABOUT ME
Total foodie. I love to travel and eat. Love new experiences, music, health & fitness, meeting new people, and having riveting conversations over a few pints of beer. I love showing people around my town. I think it's important to connect with a local to get an authentic experience of a place and not just the touristy side. I plan on going into the tourism industry and somehow putting this into practice.
PHILOSOPHY
Travel is how I learn about myself and reflect on my path in life. I like to shake things up once and a while, uproot, and get lost in the world.
I am addicted to immersing myself in other ppl's towns and lifestyles in an attempt to see life through the eyes of others.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I have hosted fellow couch surfers, and now it looks like it's my turn to do some surfing. In the next couple years, I won't be able to host anyone. However, even before I discovered CS I loved showing newcomers around my beloved city of Halifax. I plan to offer this service through CS when I return.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Two years ago, a friend and I embarked on an epic cross Canada trip by train, and we used CS to find places to stay in Quebec City and Saskatoon. I've recenlty hosted couch surfers here in Calgary on 4 different occasions.
