Overview
About Me
I lived most of my life (except for three years I spent in Jerusalem) in Tel Aviv and I really like the city, and cities in general. I like the many possibilities it offers.
I love going to the park to practice acro-balance in a jam, bathing in the sea, meeting friends in bars and restaurants, looting second hand shops, and just wandering about. I think people should wander about more often.
I am somewhat of an introvert, but I'm very open-minded (at least I hope I am) and love to meet new people.
I am vegan for the last three years, meaning I don't eat any animal product, which includes meat, eggs and dairy.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
when I traveled to India, a significant part of the journey was meeting new people from all around the world. when traveling to Europe I miss this experience. although it's great to go sightseeing and finding bargains at markets, I feel that in order to really know the city you need to hang out with the locals.
also, it just makes sense to do it. why go to a hotel, have a stranger cleaning your bed for low wage, a stranger making your food for low wage, and give money away to some rich corporate, when people truly want to connect with each other? I like simple ideas like CS that are just good for everyone.
anyway, I'm really new here and didn't host by myself yet but I used to share my life with a series couchsurfer, and together we got to host some great people in Tel-Aviv.
