I'm Shira, originally from Israel, raised in New York and I've lived back and forth between the two. I love traveling, music (listening to, singing, playing), nature, animals, books, spirituality, coffee, to name a few. I have read the terms and conditions for growing up and I do not agree.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I've always loved traveling but a couple of years ago I seem to have started some kind of road trip/travel/workaway/adventure thing for an undefined period of time. Some of my time so far has been spent in U.S. states such as New York, New Jersey, Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, South Carolina, Georgia, Florida, Louisiana and Illinois, as well as the countries of Norway, Israel and Iceland. I'm looking for a comfortable place to call "home" for a few days, to meet interesting people (like you?) and to explore new and wonderful locations along my path.

Interests

Life interests me, people, moments, cultures, learning new things. Also, being alone (I'm interesting!) and working on my online shops and projects to help finance this current lifestyle choice. I enjoy anything related to spirituality, long talks about the universe and our place in it, spending time with nature and animals, researching the net and beginning my day with a good cup of coffee (hot or iced depending on mood and location.) I'm also an observer who likes to document interesting things, so I'm often taking photos with my phone/camera.
