Overview
About Me
I love mud. If you asked me where I came from, I would identify with rich alluvial soil, grey soft dense and creamy, as well as the hundreds of other types of soil on the planet. It's the stuff that makes me soar. Imagine this - just in Bangladesh, a small delta home to 165 million people has over 500 different types of soil! Amazing, isn't it? In concrete terms, I was born in Tokyo, grew up in Alexandria, VA, with my formative years were spent between Dhaka and Feni, Bangladesh. I now live in Düsseldorf, Germany with my two sons and German husband. I spend my time these days trying to finish my first feature film: You of Many Days.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I like the philosophy behind couchsurfing and I think it is really an authentic way to get to know a place, as well as some of the people living there. I have stayed in Paying Guest accommodations while I was in India. That experience was wonderful. I made some good friends and got insight into a way of life.
