Overview
About Me
Not long ago, I chased a dream of working in Formula 1. It led me to have a brief stint in the UK. When that didn't quite work out, I came back to India and found something more interesting falling into my lap. That brought me to Bengaluru which marked the sixth city that I've made my home in.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I've had the fortune of living and adapting to the cultures of the Bengaluru, Dehradun, Delhi, Mumbai and Vizag in India (and boy is every place so vastly different in this country), and Oxford in England. If I've learnt anything from these experiences, it's that places and people can have a heavy influence in the way you think and act and that, it's clichéd, but any chance encounter has the power to reshape your path in life.
I'm going to be in Bengaluru till Jan 2020 and have every intention of exploring everything that this place and everything around it has to offer. I feel part of the adventure is through meeting people whose paths you never imagined would cross with yours, people who needn't be from this city alone, or even this country.
When there's a scarcity in the chance to travel, I like to see it through the eyes of travelers themselves. I would love to hear your stories and share mine regardless of whether you're here on a trip, a planned vacation or just for work and business.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: Piano, Jazz.
Books: Began with Harry Potter (of course), although it later felt like many elements were taken from The Lord of the Rings. Liked the intricate plot-depth and pointedly non-binary character spread in A Song of Ice and Fire. Admire the bold and heavily researched (though very repetitive) works of Dan Brown. Periodically influenced by Ayn Rand's Atlas Shrugged and Steve Jobs' biography by Walter Isaacson. Trying to branch out from thrillers and fantasy fiction, therefore currently reading the following,
- Gone with the Wind by Margaret Mitchell
- How Not to be Wrong by Jordan Ellenberg
- The Prince by Niccolo Machiavelli
TV and film: The works of Al Pacino, Christopher Nolan, David Fincher, David Chase, Ethan Coen, James Gandolfini, Joel Coen, Jonathan Nolan, Martin Scorsese, Micheal Mann, Paul Greengrass, Robert De Niro, Stanley Kubrick.
