ABOUT ME

Hi, My name is Shirley. I do come off shy when i meet new people, but i'm really outgoing and talkative. i like exploring and learning new things, and of course meeting new people.I'm born in Vancouver, Canada, but lived in Calgary, Canada most of my life. Most of my traveling done was a family member [sister or cousins], never alone. But summer 2013 went to China for three months on my own. I was nervous but super excited at the same time. Cant wait to travel more!!!

Couchsurfing is brand new to me. I heard about this from a friend who couchsurf.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I've joined CS a couple of months before coming to Beijing. After arriving to Beijing, I've made a lot of friends from CS. I hasn't been able to host/surf with a CS yet, but i think it'll be a good experience when i do.

Intereses

I like running, yoga, eating/cooking, and traveling. I'm not good at cooking, but I'm slowly learning.

I don't really read books unless it's an assigned reading from school.
I love watching romance/comedy movies. Anything that can make you cry, i will watch.
Musics i like are trance, house music, hardstyle and country music. And also old school R&B.

i most amazing thing i've done was help rebuild homes for families in Calgary

but this summer i'll be teaching english in beijing. i think that'll be the most amazing this i can do.
