Reading(I’m more into Chinese literatures, especially ancient poems), watching movies (I love watching horror movies with friends:) and I enjoy going to cinemas alone), learning languages, history and geography, traveling. cannot live without music;) I have a collecting habit. I love collecting postcards&stamps (I send postcards from each city/place I’ve visited back home, sometimes I buy some from the second hand shops or flea markets), receipts (eg. bills for lovely dinners with other travelers), tickets(any kind of tickets), maps, coins and notes and old stuff. I have four big folders with my collection organized at home. I’m always excited to go to old book shops, flee markets, museums, exhibitions and galleries. Always find contemporary arts interesting. I’m always too lazy to learn cameras, I simply press the shutter and enjoy capturing moments I don’t want to forget. I’m now traveling with my holga film camera, have sent films back to China to develop (when I got home), have no idea what I’ve taken with the film camera for last year while traveling.

All kinds of music, movies and books that are good and healthy. For music, I’m currently listening to Connan Mockasin, Cymanda, Hyukoh, Raleigh Ritchie. I enjoy listening to Arabic funk and jazz from decades ago, African tribal music and Farsi rap a lot:) Cantonese songs and Mandarin folk songs with poetic lyrics are always on my playlists. I’ve been very into old and slow-pace Taiwan and Hongkong movies, Edward Yang, Wang Kar Wai and Ang Lee’s movies are my favorites.:) I also love listening to the soundtracks of old movies, especially Wang Kar Wai’s. He’s simply amazing. For books, I’m recently reading Natsume Sōseki.

Suffered from depression in the uk and booked a flight ticket to east Africa without much hesitation. Traveling there for 40 days and made so many amazing friends.:)
