Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people and fellow travelers and riders in various different places and to interact with them and share things.

Hosting:
I am here because I like to get to know about the travelers I would have never met otherwise. I am really interested in other cultures and always happy to host travelers from other countries. I would not advise the hosts to just send a one night stay request as that is not the code for CS. Couch surfing is for me about meeting people, about learning, sharing and helping each other with information, which I try to if I can.

Surfing:
I never tried surfing. I assure you that I am polite, considerate, clean and tidy. I'll never leave a mess for you and will happily adapt to your schedule. I'm very grateful you've opened your home to me, but I'm old enough not to need a babysitter.

A joke i found in the CS forum: "I signed up on Couch surfing because next to being exceptionally open-minded, laid-back and really liking to travel, I tend to keep drowning in my own mess and the only motivation to clean my apartment is to avoid being embarrassed when opening my home to a guest"

Ironically, it's true.

Interests

I love riding my bike and travelling to long distances. Anahita & Baby (that's what I call my two motorbikes) and me do share some pretty good times. I like classical music and pop songs. Some times I paint.. and the list goes on. I always wanted to learn guitar.

One of my profound interest is to learn about people and their culture. I like to discuss the topics like religion and God (even though I am an atheist).

If you are a hardcore traveler/biker, I will keep talking with you till your ears bleed (this is not literal) and ask you many million questions (this is literal).

Whatever I know till now is just a drop in the ocean and I believe that you will share your drop with me.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
Arctic Monkeys, Cage the Elephant, Queens, AC/DC, Black Sabbath, Nirvana, Guns N Roses, Metallica and etc. are some of my favorite bands.

I like listening to anoushka shankar's sitar music songs, and immediately after that, my playlist plays a raunchy bad girl of avril lavigne. Ellie Goulding, Britney, Avril, Kesha, Katy Perry, Joan Jett, Nora Jones, Tegan and Sara, and Pink are some of my favorite singers.

Movies:
I love superhero action flicks. Although I sometimes watch some romantic films and horror movies. Strict NO for tragedy love stories.

Books:
I usually go for the adventure type of stories with a history to it. Dan Brown is one of my favorite authors. Not to forget the Twilight Saga series (I just love it). Altas Shrugged (Ayn Rand), If tomorrow comes (Sidney Sheldon), Fifty Shades of Grey (E.L James), Fault in our Stars & An abundance of Katherines (John Green) are some of my favorites. I have a shelf with lots of books. Feel free to browse.

The most amazing thing I can think of is going on a road trip all over South India.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you about drawing, cooking, photography, traveling and other things.

I am all ears to learn from people.

I can share my life stories with my hosts and vice-versa.
