I am a performing arts producer and writer currently based in Shanghai. I grew up in Sichuan China and studied A-level in the UK. After high school, I took a gap year before studing Mathematics at Oxford University.

Later I dropped out from uni because I found my passion somewhere else.

Through many incredible encounters, I ended up where I am today. I constantly travel between China, Europe and the States, working on various art projects and meeting like-minded people every day. I'm very grateful for everything! :D

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I started backpacking in 2011 at the age of 19. During this epic 3-month trip, I met many interesting and inspiring friends around the world and I invited some of them to stay at my house.

Later I found the website and realised cs is exactly what I've always been doing.

Travel is as important as food and water. It is food for the soul.
