I am a Chinese girl and i live in Shanghai. I am 21, and now i'm studying at ULB in Belgium as an exchange student to practise my French speaking skills. I've been learning French for 3 years and am getting more and more interested in it. I also speak English. I've travelled mainly around the cities in China, as you know China is too large to explore...and also Korea...Now since i stay in Europe i want to make a trip around the countries i like: Finland, Sweden, Germany, France, Italy, Span, Netherland...Actually i've already voyaged in Germany and Netherland, it'a pleasure to learn more about them! I am a quiet girl, not used to bothering others but i would be very willing to share if anyone wants to talk with me or needs help! I enjoy making friends and actually i have a large circle of friends in Belgium and also in China.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

It's a chance to learn about local life by staying at a local's. Plus, I always like to meet people from all over the world. I expect to find someone sharing the same value with me! I think it will bring me the feeling of being at home when traveling.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The first day i arrived in Belgium: after i got off the plane, i found my way to my house all alone, with 2 big suitcases and 2 extra baggages, i took a train then a tram and a bus but actually i knew nothing about the transportation in Belgium-buying tickets,finding the bord...i didn't even know how to use Googlemap, but i asked one after another and i arrived at my house safe and sound. I didn't take a taxi and i saved 80euros.
It's just...those around me thought i was too dependent.
