About Me

My mission in life is to make our beautiful world a little bit a better place to live in.

My Philosophy in life is going by the 4 initials R.NV.J all leading to Love.

As for me, after studying Architecture for sooooo long it is a big part of my life. I plan and design (mainly the interiors of apartments). I teach in a couple of schools. Sometimes it's fun and sometimes stressful. Being responsible for my student's success and their professional life is a big mission.
I love photography, lately, the camera I use the most is the one on my iPhone and the Canon D5 is lying in the closet.
I love cooking ... and eating :-)

I love good people, admire passionate activists and envy genuine dreamers!

Since 2015 connected to a small school in Nepal as a big brother with tons of love.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Letting CSs in my home and life, use my couch, my guestroom, my carpet it even happened that I gave my bed and surfed my own couch :-)
Expanding my connection's net as I plan on surfing other people's couches around the world.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

My overall experience is very positive, I host and surf and the people I get to meet are the best ever.
Maybe I am lucky, who knows.

In the past I CS Germany and Thailand with friends. Many years before this project came to the world.

The first time was in 1993 when 4 travellers of us near Kanchanaburi in Thailand got stuck after sundown in the middle of the jungle. A great man from the Krea-ring tribe by the name of Ni-Yom took us to his family house. His wife spanned a big mosquito net at the open ground-floor deck. They where the best hosts and wonderful people to cherish.

April 2008 - A wonderful week in Milano. staying with Bar (a friend) in the house of Mary J, Mary K and Giovanni
October 2008 - meeting Beto in Bogotá Colombia to talk about life and his idea for A Beer Tour for tourists in the city.
January 2010 met Sam in Tel-Aviv for a coffee and a great talk.
April 2011 a whole wonderful day spent with Ann

and . . . the rest of the list you can check by yourself,
be my guests ;-)
