Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To see beautiful places.
ABOUT ME
I like being active and new people. I like learning new languages by speaking them, getting up at 6 am to see the sun and dew rise whilst I get the cows in for milking. When I am travelling I like to see new things so I am often on the move. I have always considered myself to be a quiet shy person but other people consider me to be outgoing and loud. I like cooking with friends e.g. susi.
I like my job. I get to travel a bit and learn about diseases.
I like autumn because of the colours and it is not too hot in France but travelling is also amazing in the spring because of the flowers. Summer is great in Germany.
I like things cooked vegetables.
I want to learn Italian.
I like : lying on my back and staring at clouds in a blue sky
lying in the hay and waiting for the lambs to jump on my tummy and pull my hair with their teeth
watching my father facilitate a calf being born
sitting a field whilst horses graze
watching my horse trying to make friends with a fowl
watching my borhter's dog play with other animals
small pigs.
PHILOSOPHY
To have fun. I believe you can influence you life but there are somethings which are out of our power to control.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I go to couch surfing meetings, parties, brunches and ice skating. When I have couchsurfers to stay I like it to be a give and take experience, probably like most couchsurfers opinion I do not just want to be a free hotel for the night.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have couch surfed in New York and Budapest.
Interests
Ultimate Frisbee, Dancing (tango is my favorite but I like latin and even standard. Swing dance is also fun and rock and roll makes a change), Riding, (Mountain) biking, Jogging, Swimming, climbing, walking, roller blading, Snow boarding.

Music, Movies, and Books
Books: My Animals and Other Family .... please read this book and love it.
Bridy and Finn. It is a love story about the life of a girl and a boy in the US who grew up together.
Music: Low light numb: it is a local band who rock indie. They are really friendly.
Movies: I like alternative movies, set in other countries, where you do not necessarily know if it is going to be a happy ending.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
There's not only one: Climbing in the Dolomites (sometimes on my hands and knees, Cycling up and down in Corisa, camping in Saint Tropez on the beach and being visited by wild boar. Sleeping under the stars by a camp fire on a huge ranch in Texas during a horse treck, looking at the view from St Angelo over the whole of Rome and the surrounding hills. Cooking on the beach with sea water whilst the sun sets, after a week of cycling. Roller blading round Paris after the skate night had been cancelled by the police and the roller bladers blocked the traffic themselves - vive la revolution! Climbing up a rock face in the dark and heuking up all our camping kit to find out in the morning that there was a footpath- but the sun rise was worth it.
Teach, Learn, Share
Throwing a frisbee or speaking English. I can also try to teach you English cooking e.g. crumble, bread and butter pudding (and a savory version), coconot, armond and rasin flapjacks, chrismas cake, shepard's pie, fish pie, omlette, and most important of all chocoloate crispy cakes!
