ABOUT ME

love the simple things. . exploring cities on foot . . skipping the touristy spots . . catching a good show. by show i mean concert, but i feel like the word "concert" has a connotation that i don't enjoy. love getting to know people and hanging out, but often get tired of talking before an hour is over. very low maintenance, but also highly aware of how clean or not clean a place is. one of my favorite things is being on the road with a good album. also love a good dance party via house music.

PHILOSOPHY

don't waste all your energy on politics. channel some of that energy toward considering how you treat the person who passes you in the grocery store, and considering how your neighborhood is caring for people on the streets.

my participation has been pretty much. . unexistent. nonexistent? yeah, nonexistent. would love to host. will probably need to be wise about it since i'm a girl living on my own.. but i also don't just wanna surf without returning the favor to the surfing world. especially considering i live in one of the greatest US cities. love austin.

with Invisible Children: lived in a 6 bedroom house with 60, then traveled around in a van with 4 people for 10 weeks.. not knowing where we would sleep each night..heightening awareness and garnering support to help end a brutal civil war in East Africa
