About Me

Hi y'all! I'm 27, into fitness, and looking for adventures! I've recently been getting more into weight training and hiking, but have been studying martial arts practically my whole life. I've lived in NYC, Philly, and spent a lot of time in DC, but I realized that I haven't visited nearly enough of the U.S., so I'm trying to fix that now. I'm looking to expand my geographical horizons as well as my cultural ones and I would love to learn more about your background and outlook on life.
I like to cook and bake (which, admittedly, is why fitness is both a hobby and a necessity).
Oh, I'm a huge fan of pancakes, puppies, and pop music.

I can't host at the moment because I'm out of work, but plan on hosting once I'm
back on my feet.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm visiting a few cities across the country this summer and thought this would be a fun way to explore those cities, meet some cool people, and get introduced to a more global community.

Music, Movies, and Books

My taste in music ranges from pop (Adele, Maroon 5, The Summer Set, etc.) to country (like Sam Hunt) and everything in between. I tend to find a song or album that I like and listen to it on repeat until I know it really well.
As for books, I'm an avid reader and tend to devour good books in one or two sittings. Recent favorites include classics such as The Joy Luck Club and One Hundred Years of Solitude.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Placed second in two portions of a karate tournament (empty hands form and weapons (sword)) after training primarily on my own (I didn't live near a school of my style at the time).

Teach, Learn, Share

I believe we all have a spark of greatness inside of us and that we are all capable of channeling our inner talents to accomplish amazing things. That being said, I can teach basic self defense/karate (I'm supposed to be testing for my black belt soon) as well as how to make a mean vegan chocolate cake (plus many other baked goods). We can also cook together (especially if it's vegetarian/vegan/kosher).
I'm a practicing Jew, so we can always tale about that.

What I Can Share with Hosts

Good conversation and a promise that once I'm settled again in life my door will always be open to them.

Countries I’ve Visited
