About Me
I just came back to Japan so I can finally be a host!
My profile will be updated soon as a host but for now you can just contact me and I can give you the details!
Hi, I'm Sho! I was born and raised in Japan and came to New York three years ago to learn English and to go to a college. After graduating from the college, I decided to travel around the U.S. to learn more English. I'm also a musician/producer/video editor/creator of pop music and currently working on the project called Neko Hacker. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1-EXve5UN4Q I worked at the college as a Japanese teacher for two years, so if you are studying Japanese, I can help you! Also, I like filming videos and am making a documentary about this travel, so I would love you to be a part of it if you are interested!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I was originally traveling as a backpacker and using Airbnb and hostels but it was a bit boring because I didn’t meet anyone who I could deeply talk with. So I decided to be on CS and meet a lot of interesting people!
There are mainly three reasons why I'm doing this travel.
First off, I want to improve my English skills. My dream is to have my own language school in Japan to teach English.
Second, I want to talk with a lot of people. I’d love to learn from you and hopefully I can inspire you.
Lastly, I want to learn and feel culture. I hope you teach me some culture!

Music, Movies, and Books
I love music! I’m always looking for something new so let me know if you have any recommendations! I want to listen to the songs while driving!
I don’t watch movies a lot but watching a movie with someone is always enjoyable.
A book changed my life. I moved from Japan and was living in nyc because of The catcher in the rye. I wanted to be like Holden.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Our band’s music video was on big screens all over Japan!
Teach, Learn, Share
I have a drone so I can teach how to operate it! Language exchange is always welcome!
