I'm a graduate student studying ethnomusicology at the University of Hawaii! I research traditional Japanese music. I was born in Japan but I went to school in the US. I really enjoy learning about new languages and cultures. I speak English and Japanese, and study French and Korean as well. I teach English, windsurfing, and Japanese taiko drumming.
