About Me
I can host. Just please read the "anything else you need to know" part of the home section...
When I was a little girl, I fell absolutely in love with the concept of cultural exchange and travel. I can't even maintain a romantic relationship because I am incapable of staying in one place! But I am so proud to say that I have good friends all around the world. I've fallen in love in foreign lands, and broken a man's heart in at least four different countries. I keep a diary hoping it will be published on Mars after I die, and after reading it, the Martians will fall in love with Earth's many dynamic people just as I have.
I come from a well-educated and fairly wealthy Black American family, so my perspective on American politics is very unique, and I'm always interested in discussion. My great grandparents were slaves, and through their recounted stories from my grandparents, I am familiar with the firsthand experiences of American slaves. That said, I don't know my own country of origin. Because of America's ugly slave history, my only known identity is "American."
I won't ask my hosts to show me around unless they want to. Otherwise, I'm pretty Google-savvy with "stuff to do in (insert city here)." I'd rather hang out with my hosts if and when they do have time, though! As a host, I can spend time with you if you like, or I can leave you to explore on your own. I'm not demanding. All I ask for is mutual respect.

Music, Movies, and Books
Mystery novels are my favorite books. Suspense/horror is my favorite movie genre. Classical and opera are my preferred music. And any music that tells a story or highlights incredible vocal talent.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I wanted to travel to all seven continents by age 30. I accomplished my goal when at age 28, I vacationed in Antarctica. It was awesome!
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you Tae Kwon Do, I want to learn to cook (I am a terrible cook, but I make a mean tagine thanks to a host in Morocco), and I can share my heart with anyone.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I will share all my photos from my travels if you're interested, and tell tales of my adventures. I can also sit quietly and leave you alone. But I'm great company for a night out or a night in, and I know how to give space.
