Resumen
Sobre mí
CURRENT MISSION
to teach english as a foreign language in exotic countries, and to visit friends around the USA, and to avoid snow unless I'm skiing . Also, I love experiencing new things that will make me healthier and expanded spiritually and emotionally.
ABOUT ME
Hi, I'm retired from the real work world and am having a great time writing, learning, exploring, hanging out, keeping fit, deepening friendships, making new ones, and traveling. Got certified to teach english as a foregin language last winter, and did a month at an ashram doing yoga and meditation and working. Am in the midwest for the summer, and am looking around the world for warm weather this winter.
PHILOSOPHY
Right now, I'm connecting the dots to see what life is about, and finding the joy or truth in each day. Wanting to be centered, to be there...or here...or to be here when I'm there, yaknow?

Música, películas y libros
Loved Nelson Mandela's "Long Road to Freedom" a fascinating autobio. Love history well told, like "Team of Rivals" about A.Lincoln's presidency. Love bios and autobios, love travel books--anything by Bill Bryson--what a wit!
A good but not gruesome mystery is fun. Time, Newsweek, Mother Jones, NY Times,
Movies: The Painted Veil, Shrek, Milk, Micheal Moore's stuff, some Woody Allen, Clint Eastwood. Not many great ones, but a few.
Algo increíble que he hecho
I climbed a mountain in Peru with Llamas and guides, and a small group of people, stayed the night, and saw the sky upside down! Who knew? We had a shaman and story teller who fascinated us with tales before we slept. In the morning, the llamas were just outside my tent, and when I crawled out at dawn, they were covered in frost, and totally ok with that!
Enseña, aprende, comparte
I'd love to learn about black holes (just went to IMAX movie about that in DC, wow) and archeology; fascinated with other cultures. I've done a lot of traveling, and have seen some great cultural things off the beaten path. I love trying to learn other languages, tho I'm pretty hopeless, but the pantomime that goes on and the discovery is such fun! I'm a good photographer, have a great design eye. Could teach swimming, am a water safety instructor.
