About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Do what you can, with what you have, where you are.
Building a home ... with our own hands.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I find this way of travelling amazing, although I have not much experience in it.
I think this could be a way to a more peaceful world in the future.
Meeting different people with all sorts of cultural and personal backgrounds never gets boring. I like to hear new stories, meet new people, and open to make new friends.
Interests
I have loads of interests, but unfortunately quickly get bored with routine.
At the moment my husband and I are trying to grow olives, fruits and veggies.
I find great pleasure in designing buildings and furniture.
Music, Movies, and Books
Some of my alltime favorite movies:
Arizona Dream (Kusturica)
Paris, Texas (Wenders)
Some Like It Hot (Wilder)
Nostalgia (Tarkovsky)
I love to listen to good radio, with lots of divert, non-mainstream music.
At the moment reading a book about bees and why they are dying all around the world.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
taking part in a post and beam workshop of the Shelter Institute in Maine, raising the complete loadbearing structure of a timberframe house in less then a week.
It was amazing to experience what you can do with a few hands, good tools and a bunch of enthusiastic amateur builders.
