ABOUT ME
I am outgoing and very friendly. I was once voted someone who can "make a friend in 3 seconds or less" but at the same time, I am extremely trustworthy. I am 23, and I have friends ranging in age from 16-over 40. I love traveling and doing crazy fun things. My family thinks I will be recruited by spy agencies because I am so good at keeping secrets! I tend to be a night person (It is 2:47 am as I write this) but I get up when the alarm goes off and once I am up it is ok.
I have a degree in history and philosophy and another one in public policy and international law. I've been formally educated in Chicago, Paris, the Hague and the UK, but really I believe we all live in a global classroom.
I like to have fun, which can be defined in many ways. I'm open to trying any of 'em! I can stay up all night partying, but I can also be extremely serious and studious.
PHILOSOPHY
"And it is not the years in your life that count, it is the life in your years" - Lincoln
As in, live life to it's fullest potential. Be the best you can be, to yourself and others.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
During the summer of 2008, my friend Christopher and I couchsurfed around Europe. As a college student in Chicago, my roommates and I hosted a few couchsurfers when we were free. I have couchsurfed across the US, throughout Europe and even in Central Asia!

Endless! Thinking, cooking, debating, reading, laughing, playing ultimate frisbee, writing, running, playing, spending time with friends (new and old!), art, photography, politics, history, music, movies, books, typerwriters, big cities, wide open country, water, the desert.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I worked with Habitat for Humanity in Thailand after the tsunami... Building a "house" out of salvaged wreckage from the disaster with a dozen men, all of us speaking different languages, was quite a (wonderful) experience.
Worked in orphanages in Kenya, as well as safaried. Traveling from place to place, being out in the desert with NOTHING around, not even a telephone pole, was incredible. Watching a family of lions devour a zebra 3 meters from my dinky van was beyond explanation
Simple moments, like watching baby swans swim around Town Pond at home
