One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2009, I traveled to South Africa with my choir- we visited a youth organization outside of Pretoria and spent several days with them, sharing cultural experiences and singing with them. It proved to me that even though you often might not be able to communicate with someone through words, you can communicate with music!

Teach, Learn, Share

Most recently, my teammate and I have been traveling through Morocco for 6 weeks, meeting with local rural and urban organizations to help them raise money online through our organization. I know both of us would love to share these experiences with others! I'm also happy to share my experiences with being a student in the US, traveling in India (you will love it!), living in Paris and the world of international development. I would also love to learn about different cultures, particularly those that I've never experienced. I'm also always trying to learn new languages. As a hobby I love to cook, so I would REALLY love to learn some local recipes everywhere I go!
