Overview
About Me
What can I say... I am an open minded person who believes that everyone is on a powerful journey to live their lives authentically and from the heart. I lived for a short time in Australia and learnt meditation and yoga, I began to study Naturopathy in New Zealand and now am on a bit of a quest to gain worldly knowledge and to just connect with people everywhere I go.
UPDATE; The travelling has begun! I have meandered in India, hiked in Nepal and now I'm going to enjoy Thailand!
I am open to new experiences and can be quite spontaneous so whatever is going I will usually join in on the fun!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I feel the best way to enjoy any country is to meet a local who loves where they are, to not see it as an outsider but to understand why so many people call their place home. I host through Airbnb in New Zealand and I always try to show people why I love my home so much, even if they can only see a small part of it, if they can feel the spirit within the place then it is surely enough to get an idea of what it is like and I hope to find that where I go too.
Also I love to write, and run a blog about my travels and other bits and bobs I learn along the way;

Music, Movies, and Books
I am a bit of an eclectic with music so it ranges from acoustic to dub, psy, anything funky or original or something I can groove to.
I hardly watch movies anymore but if I was to choose a movie I would have to say 'Into the Wild' or anything that inspires me.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Hiked eight days into the Annapurna Mountains.
Traded dread maintenance for a tattoo in Dharamsala, India.
Teach, Learn, Share
At the beginning of my world travels I will be attending a one month course in India for yoga so while I travel I would love to practise teaching :)
I am sure I will have some health knowledge, herb knowledge or food knowledge to share, I like to keep things simple and easy as health should not be a chore but something to be enjoyed and loved!
The biggest thing I could share I could not describe but I just enjoy connecting with people, sharing laughs and experiencing love with anyone so I hope that is enough to give an idea of who I am.
What I Can Share with Hosts
Cooking, yoga, health, love and acceptance. An open mind and probably a lot of laughs! I can make a decent coffee too if you enjoy that :)
I am not sure of what I can give otherwise but I hope it is enough that I can share what I have no matter what happens to be in the moment,
Much love!
