Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
just joined the wonderful world of couchsurfing.
basically, i believe in communities. i don't think there is anything more powerful than individuals coming together in whatever way they can to create something greater than themselves. couchsurfing is a way to create an intentional, global community and i want to be a part of that.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
well, i don't have very many. i did a little couchsurfing in florence, but that was at a hostel that offers a few beds to couchsurfers. but the site has been recommended to me by friends, who have used to site to find couches everywhere from california to ghana. i'm hoping to crash on some couches this summer, and then return the favor when i'm back home in cali.

music: right now i'm really into modest mouse, but my taste is punctuated by phases so who knows what's next
books: again, i'm big on phases and right now it's all about existentialist novels
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
just the other day i rode from kpalime, togo to the ghana border on the back of a speeding motobike up a tiny winding mountain road through the rainforest, passing waterfalls and trees and vines and looking out over a valley. it was unbelievably beautiful. wish i could do it just one more time
Teach, Learn, Share
