ABOUT ME

I grew up in northern New Jersey, right outside of NYC, spent five years living in Israel in various cities including Haifa and Tel Aviv, went to school in Boston to become an aircraft mechanic, got my first job in Kansas City. And now recently moved to Salt Lake City for a new job with a great airline, in a beautiful city!

I like to think of myself as being outgoing and very friendly. Always looking for new experiences and fun adventures. I also like to be taken out of my comfort zone to try new things that challenge me. I love meeting people of all shapes, sizes, colors, religions, nationalities, etc. I'm addicted to travel which means that when I'm not working I'm usually off on some adventure. It's more of a question of where am I than how am I. And the benefits I get from work just enable me to feed that addiction constantly!

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is to each their own and live and let live. I will admit that sometimes it is hard to NOT judge someone else, but I strive to not judge another and to let him/her live as they choose so long as it does not adversely effect others.

I believe that no matter how it can be to see, the glass is always half-full.

I live my life, embracing each new day with a positive attitude.

I truly believe that the world we live in would be a much better place if we as people got past the exteriors and began to see others as human beings identical to ourselves, who have the same needs and desires.

I joined CS a while back but haven't been able to explore it much until now. I look forward to hosting and meeting new people.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Again I am new to the community and don't have and experience at all. Call me a virgin of sorts if you will.

I enjoy going to the beach, getting together with friends, going on hikes, swimming, skiing camping, watching movies/tv, live theater and concerts.

I enjoy a wide variety of music ranging from classical, to classic oldies, pop, jazz, instrumental, and soft rock.

I like most types of movies, but am not such a big fan of the horror genre.

One amazing thing that I have done in my lifetime thus far was going snorkeling along the barrier reef off the coast of Belize!

I can teach about Judaism, and Israel. Even some Hebrew. Also all you've ever wanted to know about airplanes. In exchange I would love to learn about new ideas and just new things in general, be it a new skill or a few words in a new language!
