I am a translator and interpreter of English and Turkish. I've worked as a linguist at Yandex and also as a content editor in a publishing company. Currently I'm in the process of moving to Luxembourg to work at Amazon as a translation specialist.

Classical but efficient, I love to listen music. Besides that I love to spend exclusive times with my friends in different places, eating different kinds of meals and learning stuff. I like to take photographs of old buildings with my Fuji cam. I am not such creative but I like to see things grow and nourish around me. I am also interested in learning new languages. I am working a lot but I am trying to enjoy my life as much as possible by enhancing the most little things in my life to grow into something big and joyful (:

Por qué estoy en Couchsurfing

Personally, I love to meet people and show them my kind and style of living and get their's in return. So I try to host people speaking maybe not fluent but good English to share as much as possible. As I haven't surfed a CSer yet, I hope in the future I will have the chance to.

All of my CSers were very exiting and full of adventures. As we try to be open as much as we can in terms of communication and people we hosted were also open-minded and fun.

Música, películas y libros

I love music. Primarily Radiohead being my favourite of all time, I listen mainly indie stuff also electronic music - house and deep house. My Spotify name is shoric if you want to see what I enjoy to listen. Besides that I am interested in TV-series. I practically follow every good series. I am in love with Friends, I watch Dexter, House, Modern Family, Parks and Recreation, Game of Thrones, Breaking Bad, IT Crowd, Misfits etc. etc. Also I love movies except the romantic-comedy stuff. Yeap, I hate those. And there is also a saying by John Waters stating that "€œIf you go home with somebody, and they don't have books, don't fuck 'em!". This is what I believe to be true.

I am affected by small things actually. The huge, impressing things leave an impact on me too, I can't deny that. But seeing a hungry dog on an empty street or watching the snow fall at a particular time can be as important as my other bigger experiences.

I can cook Turkish Coffee (: Anything I get from a foreigner is valuable for me. I hope for the ones who are considering to meet me, this is also the case.

I can share a good cup of coffee with a nice conversation. I basically do what I normally do with my friends locally and abroad. That's why I have had so many friends on CS who I still meet in different countries.
