About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To surpass the limits that confine me

ABOUT ME

I am a 23 year old female, though I am often told I have an "old soul". My interests and desires are continually evolving. I am a creative person, and like to make things: I sew, bake, paint, draw, and build, and I continue to seek new skills. Recently, I learned how to brew beer, and it has become my newest time consuming hobby. I currently waitress, though I am trying to find a job in my field. By keeping an open heart and mind, I intend to tour the world for answers to questions not yet asked.

PHILOSOPHY

I live to test my personal limits.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Currently, I am looking to surf only (regrettably, my apartment is much too small to host!). However I would love to meet people to show them the great city of Philadelphia!

Music, Movies, and Books

I am not a huge fan of movies, but my two favorites include Lars and the Real Girl and Silent Hill (two very different flicks!). I prefer non-fiction books (favorite is Round Ireland with a Fridge), though I do enjoy the occasional novel. And my musical tastes vary, but I do enjoy newer bands like the Shins, the Yeah Yeah Yeahs, and Arcade Fire, as some older rock.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did some back-country camping through the Shenadoahs that was amazing, and I will never forget my first international trip to Italy.

Teach, Learn, Share

I could teach you to sew and find something amazing at a thrift store. I would love to learn welding and some carpentry skills. Also, my French is pretty rusty, and I would love to learn some Spanish!
