About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To meet as many people from different countries as possible! And to have a blast!
ABOUT ME
I am a HUGE language and foreign culture nerd, so I love just plunging myself into a new place and trying to blend in with that community. I'm very much into sports, too, so if you crash at my place during a sports season and enjoy watching it on TV, I can guarantee you we'll make a night of it :)
PHILOSOPHY
I try to live my life for the glory of God because He saved me and gave me a reason to wake up every morning and be joyful, even when I'm struggling.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I would love to host anyone who oddly feels the need to come to College Station to visit, but cannot have smokers in my home because I'm allergic. Sorry!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've never couch surfed before but I would absolutely LOVE to, as well as host those who want to couch surf. It's a fantastic way to meet new people and build friendships you might not have had otherwise!
Interests
I spend my time reading a lot because I'm a student, but I also love playing sports, singing, reading for fun (a luxury!), and hanging out with friends. My church is very important to me, so I try never to miss a Sunday. Interesting people from different backgrounds and ethnicities really grab my attention because I want to learn everything there is to know about them.

Music, Movies, and Books
Gladiator, Saving Private Ryan, and Shawshank Redemption are three of my favorite movies. I love listening to contemporary Christian and Broadway music, but I've been known to belt out some pop songs ;)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I think one moment that left me awestruck in France was going back to the D-Day cemetery. I had visited in 2003 and searched until I found a cross of a soldier who had died on D-Day. I went back 5 years later when I was living in Caen and placed a flower at his cross and then saluted the flag during TAPS. Having been a member (briefly) of the USAF, the whole atmosphere left me almost in tears. The beach is still so serene today, and to think of all the blood that was shed there is just mind-blowing.
