Overview
About Me
I love to be.
I was born and raised in an unassuming little town in Oman to Indian parents.
This is where my journey of self-discovery began.
I moved to India when I was 18 to study Mechanical Engineering, dropped out and travelled India and Nepal for a year.
I, then, won a scholarship to study music in London and lived in England since. I played music and taught Philosophy there.
Then I lived in Zürich where I did my research in Indian and Oriental Philosophy. I felt at home with ancient wisdom texts and Sufi poetry.
Then, I lived in an ashram on the mountains of Costa Rica where I was a chef, a student and teacher of Indian philosophy.
Nowadays, I am a perfumer. Spending half the year travelling and the other half back in Oman.
Continuing to explore the perfume of silence and going where it takes me.

Music, Movies, and Books
I listen to a very eclectic range of music. Just to name a few that come to mind. Bach, Bill Evans, Miles Davis, John Coltrane, Esbjorn Svennson Trio, Snarky Puppy, Tigran Hamasyan, Robert Glasper, Debussy, Ravel, Chopin, Eric Clapton, Beatles, Tedeschi Trucks Band, John Mayer, Tom Misch, Nitin Sawhney, Nick Drake, Bonobo, Aphex Twin..
Some of my most loved movies are Close Up, Stalker, Apu Trilogy, Children of Heaven, Phantom Thread, City of God, Certified Copy, The Truman Show, Senna, There Will Be Blood, Ratatouille, The Handmaiden, Enter the Void, Life is Beautiful, The Red Turtle…
I am drawn to reading books that deepen my understanding of humanity. Books such as I Am That by Nisargadatta Maharaj. Conference of Birds by Farid Attar of Nishapur. Authors such as Alan Watts, Lao Tzu, Fyodor Dostoevsky, Aldous Huxley, Herman Hesse, Rabindranath Tagore, Khalil Gibran, Rumi, Nietzsche, Kant, Wittgenstein, Leo Tolstoy..
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I dropped out of university, and asked myself what it was that I truly wanted to do. So I jumped on the cheapest train I could find and was soon on my way to the Himalayas. It took 3 days on the floor of this crowded train to reach Darjeeling.
It was both a terrifying and an immensely liberating experience.
Teach, Learn, Share
I’d be happy to teach guitar, explore philosophical topics, cook you delicious food and listen intently.
I'm sure we can figure it out as we go along. All you need to know is I’m open to listening, sharing, helping and learning in any way that I can.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I’d quite naturally share my love for all things, stories from my travels, wisdom, heartfelt music and all else that I can give!
I suppose what needs to be shared will reveal itself in time.
I can't wait to share time with you :)
