Hello! I'm Ignacio, Mexican guy who lives in Puerto Escondido. I was studying biotechnology until I simply asked myself if this was all to life? I then ended up in Europe to explore the world and since then I haven’t stoped. I have no association with certain ideas, political parties, countries, movements, religions or specific life style. During my trip started I smiled, laughed, kissed and hugged in absolute joy and bliss, but also suffocated myself with anger resisting letting go and then found surrender, peace, understanding, love and compassion in my heart. I learned to speak honestly, to listen and pay attention to smallest details. I found compassion and experienced loss, grieve, frustration and surrender. I dropped masks, conditions, ego, mind, pretentious smiles, politeness, and automatic responses. I asked on my knees for guidance, love and direction. I learned to act rather than react. I simply lived! I'm an unusual boy, my mother told me that I had a chameleon soul, without a compass pointing to nowhere, just an inner indecisiveness that was as wide and as wavering as the ocean. With a fire for every experience and an obsession for freedom that sometimes terrified me to the point that I could not even talk about it. If we let Life simply happen, allowed to be unfolded in its way and there is no resistance or attachments, the flow is natural, magical and truly Divine. Anxiety, pain, frustration, misunderstandings and anger don’t have a chance to arise. And when they do, they are simply reminders of a need to find deeper connection with Self and purpose. Slow down the time for internal search. Staying Present in the Now and enjoying the Flow, is the most beautiful thing to find.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I think that the world is bigger than our expectations and I wanted to go out from my comfort zone and keep traveling alone. My experiences as traveler helped me to define my way to create and explore new things, understand how the world move and the related problems around each one. I'm on Couchsurfing because I think that the exchange of experiences, ideas, knowledge, perceptions of the world It's very important for me. Let's hangout, walk around the place and enjoy little things. I believe in the kindness of strangers. :)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Start traveling alone at 22. And the thing is, I don’t want to go back, to live life in same automatic dream I had before, the Matrix! I want to continue to live this precious beautiful life authentically, truthfully, with open heart, compassion, courage, kindness and awareness, without masks, connected, in intimacy, love, and Trust. Thrusting that every moment is well taken cared of, well designed, planned out specifically in the best interest of the Soul’s evolution and expression of its Karma. That there are no coincidences and everything has its purpose. All is needed for the journey and is always provided, no need to stress or worry, attach, posses, believe unsettled limiting mind, not seeking truth or satisfaction outside.

I practice Yoga and meditation, and I'm also certified as a Yoga teacher, so If my host would like to look inwords I would be happy to be the guide. I want to learn how does other people from another countries live and their perspective of the world, to learn all I can from them.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I consider myself a funny person, im a good company, listener and someone whom you can always trust. Also I would never come with my hands empty. Beers, coffee or dinner will always be on me.
