About Me
I like different types of cultures, and on a mission to discover them whether on a daily basis, or when exploring what the world has to offer (with some money in my pocket of course). I looooove music, specifically going to concerts, and also a linguistic geek.
I am mostly attracted to feminist-leftist-vegan-anarchist-queer-punk scenes around the world. If you are a part of such a community, I'd be thrilled to meet you!
Meanwhile in reality, I just moved to a village, for the first time in my life. Getting used to it, but right now it's charming with all the open fields around where my dog can run free. I work as a linguist in a nearby city, which is a job I thought was imaginary, but aparently it isn't =)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Generally speaking I like to challenge consumerism. I belive that couchsurfing is a perfect example of how such a lifestyle is only possible with mutual trust, and how this mutual trust comes hand in hand with switching the view about each other from cusomer vs. seller to person vs. person. I was never curious about the lifestyle of my airbnb hosts, and they were never curious about mine, the way I see is happening in CS.
Of all my travelings so far, I think the best experiences were CS-related. Guests I've hosted opened my apetite to new countries I'd never thought of visiting. Hosts I've visited showed me realities I had no chance of knowing about without them.
