About Me
Hi, I am Shrawan. I grew up in Nepal. I love to play the guitar and have been playing it for about 8 years. I'm always looking for new music to learn and appreciate. I also love languages and food. I am also currently learning cardistry (despite not knowing any card games or card tricks :P) because it looks cool.

Music, Movies, and Books
Music: My favorite band right now is an instrumental band called Polyphia. Who I wholeheartedly believe will become a household name in the future because they are redefining guitar in music. I enjoy rock and metal mostly because that's what I've always listened to but I am looking forward to listening to new types of music.
Movies: Kung Fu Panda I got a CD for the movie on my 7th birthday and I watched it over and over and over and over and over again. I really like its message that your capabilities are not limited by your past and your "weaknesses" could really be your strengths. I also just watched Breaking Bad and Better call saul and well... that was a fun binge but it has left a hole in me now that I've finished watching it :(.
Books: Flowers for Algernon is the best book ever written. It was the first time I cried to a book and the tears just wouldn't stop. :(
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach
Guitar and Music: I've played for a while and love to improv over random songs.
Cooking: I never learned to cook my own cuisine very well because my parents made it for me. So I learned to make foreign cuisines substituting the ingredients with what we could find in Nepal. I also love to torture my tastebuds with spicy food. P:
Learn
I want to learn about you and your interests. From random tips about how to do laundry to maybe something very useful, you learned in school. I am looking forward to taking up some new hobbies so I would appreciate it if you could help me get started on one of yours.
I would also love to learn about your cuisine and any cooking tips you may have.
Because this is my first time alone in a country other than my own, I would love to learn anything you could teach me to make my life easier.

In school, I was the kid that only listened to metal, but now I want to diversify my taste in music so please suggest any music you love.
