I like the concept of couchsurfing, especially while traveling in other countries. Also, personally i believe you learn a lot with staying with a local in different country.

Music - Debussy (clair de lune), Stairway to Heaven, also like bands like backstreet boys and Westlife, i used to hear in my childhood

Movies- The Dark Knight, Prestige, the Pianist, Saving Private Ryan, Forrest Gump, The Godfather the list goes on.

Books - there are many like the Fountainhead, the Kite runner, Into the Wild.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I dont know if its amazing or not but for me traveling in non - english countries without translator was amazing. Also, trying skiing in -30C felt good.
