Overview
About Me
I was born and brought up in the southern part of India, in a city that I absolutely love, called Bengaluru. However, at the moment I live and study in Finland. Moving from India to Finland and getting myself acquainted with the Finnish culture has been an exciting journey. I study educational sciences, and really love what I study. I am generally a very positive, open minded and easy going person. Small talk is not for me, I love engaging in healthy debates, conversations and dialogues. So if you were ever to host me or stay at my place, be ready to have some interesting conversations about anything and everything.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The first time I heard of Couchsurfing was from a friend here in Finland and I was quite skeptical about it, yet I went forward with looking for hosts for my solo travel in Europe last December. Staying at Couchsurfing hosts place made my trip even the more memorable and interesting. I was amazed by the amount of love and compassion people have to share in this world. The fact that one can travel all over the world, meet the locals and stay at their places is a wonderful idea.
Couchsurfing is such a beautiful concept, it is a living example of how technology and internet can be used to bring people together in a positive and productive way. This platform has taught me to be a little bit more kind, a little bit more generous and a little bit more accepting. Most importantly it has taught me the value of good conversations. And I will forever be grateful for that.
