Overview
About Me
I am a 25 year-old corporate-hippie currently living in New Delhi.
I am a very open, easy-going person, with many, many interests; travel being the biggest one!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have extensively traveled in India but haven't ventured out of the country much. Now I wish to see as many different countries as I can, learn as much about different cultures as is possible and make heaps of new friends along the way!
I would love to be be of any help to someone on a leg of their journey across India! Currently I'm not hosting due to a space crunch but feel free to get in touch to be shown around Delhi!
Interests
I like a lot of different things, here is a short list:
- Exploring all things historical- be it old lanes, ruins or vintage stores
- Exploring all things artsy - be it local joints where students and artists rally, poetry cafes or art galleries
- Eating local vegetarian delicacies and looking to learn vegetarian dishes that are native to a country (and if it interests the host I would love to cook an Indian meal for them!)
- Talking about random stuff, making ridiculous jokes and bad funny metaphors.
- Discussing poetry, politics and social movements with people
- Learning new languages, well, at least a few sentences.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Managed to travel every other month for an year and maintained a travel blog, with a full-time regular job!
What I Can Share with Hosts
Talk about Indian culture / history, teach them some of the Indian languages (Hindi / Punjabi / Nepali) I know, cook some amazing Indian food and bring them souvenirs!
I understand that CS hosts have bills to pay and they are being extremely generous in offering us shelter so please be assured that I will be very responsible and offer assistance in whatever they need. The idea is to find friends in them and hope to host them when they visit India. :)
