ABOUT ME

Hi there! I'm a college student with insatiable curiosity. I currently live in Singaporea, city-state in the heart of Asia, and has been living here for 8 years. My family is from Sichuan, China, famed for being the home to panda, the Sichuan Cuisine (most famous for: hotpot!) and a number of the world's most stunning(to my opinion:) natural sights. I love traveling and volunteering, and have managed a 3500-member NGO in China that organizes international volunteer projects (it's called AIESEC). I have also participated in conference at UN headquarter and took part in the collaboration with UN to promote Sustainable Development Goals in China.

PHILOSOPHY

On a scale of 0-10 for most liberal to most conservative, I'm a -1.

Music, Movies, and Books

- Movies -
Like all genres generally, from drama to comedy to horror movies. Especially interested in classics, old films and independent films. Favorite directors include: Quentin Tarantino, Christopher Nolan, David Fincher, Woody Allen, Jiang Wen and Wong Kar-Wai. Would like to direct one film of my own one day. (One item in my bucket list. ) Also interested in stage plays and have directed one myself.

Read widely, from fictions to non-fictions. A big fan of George R.R. Martin, J.K. Rowling and Haruki Murakami. Also like books about history, society, culture and philosophy.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have held the position of the National Vice President of an NGO with 3,500 members in China. I also represented China in UN to discuss how youth could help contribute to UN's Sustainable Development Goal.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am most interested in learning the unique history and culture of each city I visit, and would like to share the unique history and culture of China to everyone I meet.
