ABOUT ME

PLEASE READ MY WHOLE PROFILE BEFORE SENDING ME A MESSAGE.

At the moment I am in grad school (boring!) but I am also working to travel, traveling, then repeating. The more place I see and the more people I meet, the more I feel I have to keep traveling and experiencing. Now is the time to do it, and I find it hard to imagine every slowing down. I am a party girl at heart. I love going out and having spontaneous interactions.

You won't forget talking to me. Whether I'm cussing like a scurvy-ridden sailor or singing the praises of Bach's 2nd Summer Overture, it'll be a conversation for the ages.

PHILOSOPHY

I live my life because it's mine and I don't have any other. Plus, I'm sure I'm going to commit a felony sooner or later so I may as well travel before I'm barred from everywhere except the Third World.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I sleep on couches and spread the gospel of global co-operation and friendship. I find myself talking about CS to just about everyone I meet; random people in line at the grocery store, friends, family (my parents and sister now have profiles too).

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I always say CS is not about a free place to stay, but the people you meet along the way. When I think about all the connections I have made in the past year, I can only imagine the ones I will make in the next 5 or 10 years.

This summer was crazy busy and I wasn't able to reply to and host as many as I would like, but I have more time now, so bring it on.

People, travel, big cities, drinking, music, dancing.... those all seem like ordinary things, but it's how you take part in them.

These are so hard for me, too many books, too much music. Some recent books: Shantaram, The Road, Prodigal Summer, Middlesex, I Hope the Serve Beer in Hell. Music: Dance music, DMB and everything in between.

Watched the sunrise over the Atlantic and set on the Pacific on the same day. Can you think of in what country this is possible to do without flying....?

I have lived in SF for almost three years, so I'm getting to know this city too. I love discovering a new bar or taqueria. Let's go out and find one.
